Texas A&M University-Victoria invites applications for a full-time Instructor of Nursing to support RN to BSN and Concurrent Enrollment programs. The role is based on the Victoria Campus with an anticipated January 2027 start date.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced registered nurse and educator, holding MSN or a doctoral degree in nursing or related field, and possessing Texas RN licensure eligibility. You will teach across formats, mentor students, and engage in program assessment.

Qualifications

Must hold an MSN or doctoral degree in nursing or closely related field.
Active, unencumbered RN license in Texas or eligibility prior to employment.
Experience teaching and mentoring diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

Teach RN to BSN and Concurrent Enrollment nursing courses in various formats (online, traditional, etc.).
Support nursing students pursuing BSN and associate degree progressions.
Provide academic mentoring and guidance to nursing students.
Incorporate evidence-based practice, safety, professionalism, and leadership into instruction.
Participate in curriculum development, program assessment, and continuous improvement.
Assist with student recruitment, retention, progression, and completion initiatives.
Collaborate with faculty, advisors, and leadership to support student success.
Develop relationships with community colleges and clinical partners.
