Texas A&M International University invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing. The position is full-time, non-tenure track, 9-month, with face-to-face assignments on campus in Laredo, TX.

The department focuses on teaching, student supervision, and curriculum development within the College of Nursing & Health Sciences. The successful candidate will teach courses, supervise clinicals, evaluate progress, advise students, and participate in committees while contributing

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing; two or more years of clinical nursing experience; Texas RN license (unrestricted).
• ABD and doctorate encouraged; teaching experience in higher education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned nursing courses; supervise student clinical experiences.
• Evaluate student progress in coursework and clinicals.
• Complete administrative duties for courses; advise students as appropriate.
