Job summary

Rasmussen University in Eagan, MN is seeking an accomplished Master’s or Doctorate prepared nurse to teach nursing courses on-site. The instructor will support student success and participate in curriculum and assessment.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Active Minnesota RN license that has never been encumbered.
• Active CPR certification by AHA or Red Cross.
• 1 year clinical RN experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Teaching/training experience preferred.
• Proof of professional licenses/certifications and transcripts required.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in various modalities while promoting Rasmussen University's vision and mission.
• Teach 4.5-5.5 work units per quarter for a full-time schedule.
• Use effective teaching strategies and create a learning-conducive environment.
• Engage students through activities and synchronous/asynchronous sessions.
• Develop and implement curriculum and assessments with the Dean and area leadership.
• Support students through accessible faculty interaction and meetings.
