PIH Health is seeking a Nursing Instructor to join the Work Embedded Program with Cerritos College. The role will involve teaching didactic and clinical instruction in the Associate Degree Nursing program, including Simulation Skills Lab, across medical-surgical, geriatric, obstetric, pediatric, psychiatric/mental health and community settings.

You will develop curriculum, advise students, mentor, participate in departmental and campus committees, and assist in accreditation self-study.

Formación

• California RN License Upon Hire.
• Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing.
• Minimum of two years of registered nursing experience in either direct patient care and/or registered nursing level teaching.
• Registered nurse patient care and teaching experience must have been within the past five years.

Responsabilidades

• Instruction in didactic and clinical settings across the nursing curriculum.
• Develop curriculum and advise students; mentor and participate in department meetings.
• Collaborate with faculty, campus committees and affiliating health agencies.
• Contribute to accreditation self-study reviews and faculty development.
• Teach in person, online and in a hybrid format; support simulation labs.
• Work on teaching teams and demonstrate teamwork, communication, accountability and flexibility.
