Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nursing License issued by the California BRN.
• Five years of direct patient care experience in the designated nursing area or equivalent academic teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach and supervise students in clinical and/or lab settings as assigned.
• Demonstrate clinical competence in the designated nursing area.
• Provide instruction, evaluation of students, and curriculum planning.
• Travel to the clinical site at least weekly and on various shifts.
• Remediate students not meeting clinical objectives and refer for assistance as needed.
• Maintain open communication with nursing faculty and participate in department meetings.
