Job summary

Volunteer State Community College is seeking an adjunct instructor to deliver quality instruction for non-credit Health Sciences Continuing Education programs. You will use integrative technologies and employ diverse instructional strategies to communicate course-related information effectively to students.

The role requires teaching across on-ground, online, hybrid or web-enhanced modalities and may include day, evening, weekend, or off-campus sessions.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months teaching experience or working in a health-related field.
• Appropriate formal education and valid industry credential(s) specific to the course(s) being taught.
• Other combination of formal education, training and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses via on ground, online, hybrid or web-enhanced modalities.
• Teach day, evening, weekend, off-campus, distance-based courses, as required.
• Submit final grades for each course by the deadline established by the department.
• Complete required College training annually and related to new equipment; comply with policies.
