Job summary

Pasco-Hernando State College Nursing program seeks creative and motivated nursing faculty to advance nursing education. This nine-month contracted role includes a salary range and a $10,000 Florida Nursing Pipeline stipend, prorated by duty days and education level.

The position is full-time across campus locations during the academic year 2026-2027, with benefits and potential multiple openings. Faculty duties include teaching, curriculum planning, and student support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (regionally accredited).
• Current, unrestricted FL RN license.
• 2 years recent clinical experience.
• Level II criminal history background check.
• BLS for Health Care Providers CPR certification with immunizations.
• Negative drug and alcohol screens when selected.

Responsibilities

• Teach day or evening classes at assigned campus or other locations.
• Provide instructional coverage of course objectives.
• Develop and update course and program objectives.
• Accommodate needs of disabled students with Disabilities Services.
• Maintain non-discriminatory learning environment and equity for all students.
• Provide syllabus and submit copies to deans and provosts as required.
• Maintain attendance records and student progress.
• Participate in college committees and faculty meetings.
