Palm Beach State College is seeking a part-time Adjunct Instructor in Nursing to educate college students according to established theories and techniques. The role includes developing and evaluating curricula, coordinating schedules, and supporting program reviews while aligning with the College's mission.

Applicants must hold a Florida RN license (or demonstrate teaching competencies) and be comfortable using Microsoft Office and Canvas LMS.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or health-related field.
Current Florida RN license or demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Canvas Learning Management System or similar instructional technologies.
Ability to interact positively with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public.

Responsibilities

Develops, maintains, interprets, and executes administrative procedures and practices.
Develops and maintains manuals regarding the College's policies, procedures, rules, and standards.
Analyzes class and program needs of the College.
Determines and recommends retention or deletion of courses.
Develops and coordinates program and course schedules, faculty assignments, and test dates.
Maintains calendar to track these schedules and adjusts as required.
Assist students and program curriculum, program and course reviews, and articulation activities.
