Job summary

Rasmussen University in Odessa, FL is seeking a Part-Time Nursing Adjunct Instructor to teach within the Nursing program at our Central Pasco campus. This role allows you to continue field work while entering academia and helping shape the next generation of nurses.

No prior teaching experience is required as training is provided; courses may be on campus or at partner locations, with 10–15 hours per week per course and competitive hourly rates.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing is required.
• 1-year clinical experience as an RN is required, 2+ years preferred.
• Proof of active RN licensure that has never been encumbered.
• Official transcripts required for each degree earned from an accredited institution.
• Active CPR certification administered by either the American Heart Association or The American Red Cross, applicable faculty immunization documentation required.

Responsibilities

• Teaching lecture, laboratory, and clinical practicum courses in the Nursing program as assigned (on campus or at off-site clinical partner locations).
• Utilize effective teaching strategies and diverse methods to engage students.
• Create high levels of student engagement through activities and live synchronous sessions.
