Job summary

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis seeks a full-time non-tenure Instructor in the College of Nursing to educate and supervise nursing students across didactic coursework and clinical practice.

Responsibilities include clinical supervision, hospital practice assignments, and utilization of skills/simulation labs; research activities will be defined with the Department Chair.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Experience in recent acute care medical-surgical nursing is required.
• RN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic coursework and supervise students in clinical settings.
• Coordinate clinical practice assignments in hospital and skills/simulation labs.
• Engage in research/scholarship activities as determined with the Department Chair.
