Job summary

The College of Nursing Community and Population Health Department at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences in Memphis, Tennessee, is seeking a full-time non-tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor.

Primary teaching responsibilities are within the DNP program, including didactic coursework and clinical supervision/mentoring of students. Teaching includes online didactic and clinical teaching, with potential opportunities across programs and/or concentrations.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Nursing required.
• RN license required; APRN certification preferred.
• Teaching experience in a professional nursing program is desired.
• Population/public health and nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Undergraduate teaching experience preferred.
• Curriculum development for in-person and online teaching preferred.
• Evidence of scholarship and professional service activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic courses and supervise clinical experiences in the DNP program.
• Deliver online didactic and clinical instruction.
• Contribute to teaching across programs and concentrations; engage in grant writing and project leadership.
• Engage in community engagement initiatives as applicable.
