Jersey College is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with a BSN or higher to join our nursing education team in Florida. The Nursing Instructor will provide classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students, supporting their academic growth and professional development.

The instructor evaluates student performance, maintains records, and collaborates with faculty and clinical partners to ensure high standards of nursing education and patient care.

Qualifikationen

• BSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.

Aufgaben

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students, as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters students’ academic growth and professional development.
• Deliver effective instruction appropriate to the educational level and needs of LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on programme philosophy, objectives, policies, and established standards.
