Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction for LPN/PN and RN students. The instructor will create a supportive learning environment, evaluate student performance, and guide learners in developing professional nursing behaviors.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher with an active RN license, and has strong communication skills, clinical knowledge, and a commitment to student achievement.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to taught courses and clinical experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Evaluate student performance and competency based on program standards.
• Prepare accurate progress and grade reports.
