Job summary

Jersey College is actively seeking a Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality nursing instruction and clinical education to LPN/PN and RN students. The role may involve classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings, with evaluation of student performance and development of professional behaviors.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Registered Nurse with a BSN or higher, strong clinical knowledge, and excellent communication skills, committed to student achievement and education

Qualifications

• BSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses being taught.
• Preferred: prior nursing education or teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in clinical settings and promote safe nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence according to standards.
• Prepare progress and grade reports and maintain attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty, clinical partners, and campus administration.
