Job summary

Jersey College seeks an experienced Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality nursing instruction and clinical education for LPN/PN and RN students across classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings.

The ideal candidate will have an MSN or higher, an RN license, and at least 3 years of practical nursing experience, with a commitment to student achievement and professional development.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a nursing specialty that contributes to student learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic growth and professional development.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and attend required faculty meetings.
