Job summary

Enterprise State Community College is seeking a Nursing Instructor to deliver classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction in Nursing, CNA, and Medication Assistant at varied times and locations based on student demand.

The role requires a Master’s degree in nursing, an Alabama RN license, and at least three years of clinical or nursing education experience. Teaching experience is preferred; the position starts January 2027 with a 9-month salary schedule and a summer salary period.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing is required or the ability to earn one by Summer 2027 with proof of current and future enrollment.
• Current unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse in Alabama is required.
• Three years’ experience in clinical practice or nursing education program is required.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent classroom, clinical, and laboratory instruction in nursing, CNA, and Medication Assistant.
• Evaluate student progress in classroom, clinical, and laboratory settings according to program requirements.
• Maintain and submit accurate records including grades, attendance, and class drops.
• Provide academic and career advice to students and promote leadership and enrichment experiences.
• Supervise students in classroom, skills lab, simulation activities, and clinical settings.
• Develop instructional materials and assess learning outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to class times and college policies.
