Community College of Allegheny County invites applications for an Instructor - Nursing (FT, 10 Month) at Boyce Campus. The regular full-time nursing faculty will teach and develop curriculum, engaging students in a variety of learning experiences.

The role requires RN licensure in PA, a master's in nursing, and clinical experience. Responsibilities include designing assessments, utilizing Blackboard, and integrating educational technology while supporting the college's mission.

Qualifications

Full-time faculty and classroom adjunct faculty must hold RN license (PA); master's degree in nursing; clinical experience.
Ability to teach and develop curriculum in a nursing program.
Comfort with course management systems and educational technology.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities: teach and develop curriculum.
Learning Experiences: create and deliver learning experiences aligned with Master Course Syllabus.
Teaching Strategies: employ engaging methods for an effective learning environment.
Assess and Support Student Learning: monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
Classroom Environment: foster a positive college-wide mission and goals.
Curriculum Development: participate in curriculum-related activities.
Program Review and Strategic Planning: contribute to reviews and planning for growth.
Professional Development: pursue ongoing development to deepen disciplinary expertise.
Educational Technology: integrate relevant ed tech tools into teaching.
Institutional Goals: participate in meetings and committees.
Office Hours: maintain weekly office hours as required by the CBA.
Other Duties: perform other duties per CBA.
