Job summary

Kellogg Community College is seeking a 2-year, temporary full-time nursing clinical instructor for the Associate Degree Nursing Program. The instructor will deliver high-quality nursing instruction in lab and clinical settings, covering courses such as Nursing Fundamentals, Medical-Surgical Nursing, and Mother and Baby/Labor and Delivery, under the Dean of Health Sciences.

The role requires 190 days over a 10-month period with evenings and weekends may be involved; travel to regional campuses

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered RN license in Michigan.
• BSN degree from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to nursing students in clinical and lab settings.
• Instruct and evaluate students according to course outcomes.
• Collaborate with program administrators and clinical sites to align education with practice.
• Supervise students in clinical settings and advise/mentor as needed.
• Submit grades and maintain records per policy.
• Support ongoing program accreditation and department initiatives.
