Job summary
Hazard Community & Technical College is seeking applicants for a Nursing Instructor - two available positions. This role will teach college level credit courses in the Practical Nursing Diploma and Associate Degree nursing programs.
The on-site, 10-month appointment includes responsibility for curriculum delivery, use of LMS, course assessments, professional development, and service on college committees. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in Nursing with at least three years of nursing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; at least three years of nursing experience.
- Master’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Some teaching experience is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction and learning materials for courses each semester per approved curriculum.
- Use technology and learning management systems to support instruction.
- Complete syllabus development, course assessments, interventions, and class organization.
- Participate in professional development and college/department meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
