Job summary

Hazard Community & Technical College is seeking applicants for a Nursing Instructor - two available positions. This role will teach college level credit courses in the Practical Nursing Diploma and Associate Degree nursing programs.

The on-site, 10-month appointment includes responsibility for curriculum delivery, use of LMS, course assessments, professional development, and service on college committees. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in Nursing with at least three years of nursing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; at least three years of nursing experience.
• Master’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Some teaching experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction and learning materials for courses each semester per approved curriculum.
• Use technology and learning management systems to support instruction.
• Complete syllabus development, course assessments, interventions, and class organization.
• Participate in professional development and college/department meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
