Job summary

Hazard Community & Technical College is seeking applicants for a Nursing Instructor - a 10-month appointment. This position will teach college level credit courses in the Practical Nursing Diploma and Associate Degree Nursing programs.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with at least three years of experience as a Nurse; a Master’s degree is preferred and some teaching experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with at least three years of experience working as a Nurse.
• Master’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Some teaching experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction and learning materials for courses each semester in accordance with approved curriculum.
• Use technology and learning management systems to support instruction.
• Complete instructional support processes such as syllabi development, course assessments, and class organization.
• Participate in professional development and college/department meetings.
