The role provides operational oversight, staff support, and collaboration with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to prioritize informatics work, promote standardization, and advance patient safety in clinical workflows.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Minnesota required.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing; Master's in Nursing/Informatics or related programs preferred.
• 5 years clinical and/or operational experience required.
• 3 years informatics experience required.
• Epic system proficiency within 1 year of hire.
• Experience supporting clinical systems, workflow optimization, and stakeholder engagement.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.
• Experience leading technology implementations and workflow redesign preferred.
• Strong communication, coaching, project coordination, and relationship management skills.

Job description

The Supervisor of Clinical Informatics is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, coordination, and supervision of the Clinical Informatics team. This position provides operational oversight, staff support, work assignment, and issue resolution while maintaining the ability to perform all functions of the Informatics Nurse role. The Supervisor serves as a clinical and technical resource for informatics staff, nursing & operational leaders, providers, and Information Systems teams to support the effective use, adoption, optimization, and implementation of clinical technology solutions.

The Supervisor collaborates with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to ensure appropriate prioritization and execution of informatics work, supports organizational technology initiatives, and promotes standardization, efficiency, quality, and patient safety across clinical systems and workflows.

Schedule:

• Full time | 80 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud
• Day shift | 8am-4:30pm | Monday - Friday

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $104,124.80 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience

• Salary range: $104,124.80 - $156,187.20 per year

  • Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing required, Master's degree in Nursing, Informatics, or other related programs preferred
• 5 yearsat a minimum of clinical and/or operational experience required
• 3 yearsat a minimum of informatics experience required
• Epic system application specific proficiency required within one year of hire
• Demonstrated experience supporting clinical systems, workflow optimization, and stakeholder engagement required
• Registered Nurse (RN). Current licensure in the State of Minnesota required
• Nursing Informatics – Board Certification (NI-BC)Nursing Informatics Certification issued by the American Nursing Credentialing Center required within 3 years of hire
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred
• Experience supporting Epic and related healthcare technologies preferred
• Experience leading technology implementations, workflow redesign, and organizational change initiatives preferred
• Strong communication, coaching, project coordination, and relationship management skills
