Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks an experienced Associate Vice President of Nursing Innovation and Digital Practice to lead nursing informatics and oversee Epic and related clinical technologies across care settings.

The role requires a BSN and an advanced degree in nursing informatics or related field, with extensive nursing/healthcare experience and strong management background. Significant leadership and change-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

BSN required, MS in nursing informatics or related field preferred.
Minimum 10 years nursing/healthcare experience and 5 years of management experience.
Active RN license in the state of practice.
NI-BC certification preferred at hire and required within 24 months; Epic certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead nursing informatics initiatives from planning through implementation and optimization.
Provide executive nursing oversight for Epic and related clinical technologies.
Build and coordinate a system nursing informatics champion network.
Lead change-management, education, and adoption activities for nursing technology initiatives.
Use clinical data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Serve as a nursing liaison to CNOs, IT, quality and safety teams, and vendors.
Evaluate emerging technologies and pilots, with ongoing monitoring.
