Job summary

Sheridan Memorial Hospital is seeking a House Supervisor to oversee the delivery of safe, patient-centered care and to mentor nursing staff. This role ensures adequate resources for current and upcoming shifts by coordinating admissions, transfers, and discharges with clinical and nonclinical departments.

Responsibilities include upholding professional standards, leading by example, and maintaining infection control practices while ensuring timely communication and accountability across the care

Qualifications

• Current Wyoming state nursing license.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certificate; PALS or ENPC required.
• Descalation Training required.
• BSN preferred; willing to complete within 5 years if not held.
• Two years’ experience in a department-specific area.

Responsibilities

• Assess, coordinate, implement, and evaluate safe, patient-centered care.
• Mentor staff and lead professional growth.
• Ensure adequate shifts resources; coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Uphold standards of practice and accountability for team performance.
• Coordinate with departments to maintain smooth patient flow and patient safety.
