Qualifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, a BSN preferred (or willing to complete within 5 years), and 2 years of department-specific nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification; PALS or ENPC required.
• Descalation Training required.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree in nursing; willing to complete in 5 years if does not have a baccalaureate degree.
• Two years’ work experience in a department-specific area.

Responsibilities

• Assess, coordinate, implement and evaluate safe and effective patient-centered care.
• Mentor team members and grow professional knowledge and skills.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges across departments.
• Hold team members accountable for standards of practice and infection control.
• Monitor staffing levels, participate in continuing education and lead house supervision meetings.
