THRYVE Healthcare is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the daily operations of a skilled nursing facility. The Administrator will lead facility leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, manage financial performance, and uphold high standards of resident care and satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is a strong operational leader who can develop effective teams, drive facility performance, and create a positive environment for residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Nursing Home Administrator license (LNHA) required.
• Experience as Nursing Home Administrator in a skilled nursing facility.
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, IDPH requirements, and long-term care operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, labor costs, census, and operational performance.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate department heads and staff.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all facility operations, including clinical services, staffing, admissions, housekeeping, dietary, maintenance, and business office functions.
• Provide leadership and direction to department heads, ensuring accountability and effective performance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS and IDPH requirements.
• Monitor facility financial performance, budgets, labor costs, census, and operational expenses.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve census, occupancy, admissions, and overall facility performance.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to promote quality resident care and outcomes.
• Lead recruitment, retention, staff development, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, employees, physicians, referral sources, and community partners.
• Monitor quality measures, survey results, and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee preparation for regulatory surveys, inspections, and audits, and ensure timely correction of identified deficiencies.
