Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking an Administrator to oversee the nursing home campus, ensuring a home-like atmosphere and compliant, high-quality resident care. You will manage operations, budgeting, staffing, and regulatory adherence to protect residents' rights and well-being.

You'll lead a trained team, drive a culture of collaboration, compassion, and customer service, and partner with corporate leadership to advance strategic initiatives across Monarch's facilities in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field.
• Current Minnesota Nursing Home Administration license.
• If Administrator Designee, then ability to obtain above in a timely manner and permission from the Regional Director of Operations and/or VP Operations.
• 2 years of experience in long term care.
• Experience in both skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admissions, individual care plans, resident rights protection, and family communication to support independence, safety, nutrition, recreation and well-being.
• Lead and develop staff through recruitment, training, performance management, open communication, accountability, and a culture of professionalism, safety, wellness and customer service.
• Maintain financial health through budgeting, billing and collections oversight, payroll and overtime monitoring, purchasing controls, and compliance with financial policies.
• Ensure facility meets safety, sanitation, infection control, emergency preparedness, equipment maintenance, HIPAA-compliant technology, and a secure home-like setting.
• Maintain continuous survey readiness, enforce ethical practices, and ensure adherence to HIPAA and applicable regulations.
• Champion mission and values, collaborate with corporate leadership, monitor satisfaction, and provide visible leadership (evenings/weekends) as needed.
