Job summary

Serenity Spring Senior living at Northwood is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to oversee daily operations, regulatory compliance, and overall quality of care for residents. The Administrator will lead staff, manage the budget, and maintain high standards of safety and resident satisfaction.

The role requires a state NHA license, a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field, and at least 5 years of leadership experience in LTC or healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field preferred.
• Valid state license as a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a long-term care or healthcare facility.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing LTC facilities.
• Proven financial management skills with experience in budgeting and resource allocation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership and management to the facility's staff, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork.
• Ensure the facility operates in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including health, safety, and resident care.
• Oversee the facility's budget, financial performance, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of resources and fiscal responsibility.
• Ensure the highest standards of resident care by implementing and maintaining best practices in long-term care and addressing concerns promptly.
• Recruit, train, and retain a skilled and compassionate staff, fostering professional growth and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
• Act as the primary liaison between the facility and residents' families and community stakeholders.
• Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives, regularly assessing and enhancing the quality of services.
