Pioneer Health Care Management Inc. is seeking a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) in Sterling Heights, MI to lead the facility and ensure ongoing compliance with all state and federal regulations while delivering person-centered care.

The successful candidate will manage daily operations, implement policies, oversee the QAPI plan, recruit staff, coordinate budgets, and maintain resident satisfaction through proactive communication with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related fields preferred.
• Two years Nursing Home Administrator experience preferred.
• Must hold a current State of Michigan NHA License in good standing with LARA.
• Must read, write and understand the English language.
• Must possess a high degree of initiative and motivation.
• Strong leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day facility operations to meet long-term goals.
• Implement policies and procedures for the facility as established by the Governing Body.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and oversee the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) plan.
• Recruit and retain nursing home staff to ensure adequate care and staffing.
• Oversee budgeting and financial performance.
• Coordinate with external agencies and governing bodies.
• Ensure staff training for safety and compliance.
• Draft regular reports to governing body on quality metrics and budget compliance.
