Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking a full-time, day-shift Registered Nurse in the Nursing Float Department at Elkhart General Hospital, Elkhart, IN. The RN will work 36 hours per week on days, with 7a-7:30p shift details.

Required ASN; BSN preferred. Indiana RN license required with BSN within five years if not already held. Benefits include 403(b), PTO, health insurance, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Indiana.
• BSN within five years of employment or eligible for certification in their area of specialty.
• Maintain BLS and other required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-risk, high-frequency technical procedures safely and legally.
• Assess patient needs and develop/modify plans of care with measurable goals.
• Collaborate with clinical and ancillary staff to deliver quality patient care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes per guidelines.
• Maintain accountability and communicate effectively with team and patients.
