Job summary

Responsibilities include receiving handoffs, adhering to care plans, and remaining at the patient’s side as directed. Per Diem schedule offers variable hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a nursing assistant program.
• One year related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides close observation of patients who may be at risk for adverse events.
• Assists in activities of daily living and maintains a safe environment.
• Never leaves the patient unattended unless instructed by the nurse.
• Communicates professionally with patients and healthcare team and records data.
• Performs duties as directed by the RN and remains with the patient as needed.
