Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a Nursing Assistant for night shifts to support nursing staff and help deliver patient care according to care plans and hospital policies.

Under RN supervision, you will perform routine patient care tasks, monitor patients, collect data, and assist with hygiene, mobility, and glucose checks. Night shifts run 7 pm–7:30 am with 70 biweekly hours.

Responsibilities

• Provides routine patient care services such as call light response; ambulating, transferring, and positioning; personal hygiene assistance, prescribed bowel and bladder program assistance, etc.
• Collects, records, and reports various patient data.Reports changes in patient condition.
• Performs surgical skin preps, basic skin care procedures, bedside finger stick blood sugars, and quality control checks of blood glucose instruments.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent
