135 Aurora Health Care Southern Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Lakeland Medical Center Nursing Float Pool. The role supports RNs with daily patient care, documentation in the EMR, and patient transfers, with rotating shifts and weekend coverage.

Responsibilities include vital signs, intake/output, nutritionally supporting patients, and ensuring safety and comfort. Requires HS diploma or GED; Nurse Aide registration and BLS within 45 days are required at start.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required.
• Nurse Aide in good standing with state registry; BLS for Healthcare Providers within 45 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, ambulation).
• Document vital signs, intake/outtake, weights in EMR.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.
• Respond to call lights and communicate patient needs to RN.
• Assist with positioning, transfers, nutrition, and skin care.
