Job summary

Advocate Health's Atrium Health Union Nursing Float Pool is seeking a Part-time Nursing Assistant to provide essential patient care across units. The position offers 24 hours per week with two 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7pm, and requires willingness to float to Atrium Health Union, Union West and Anson.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and NAII certification, be listed with Nurse Aide I and II registries, and hold BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved NAII training program or student nurses meeting BON requirements.
• Current Nurse Aide I and Nurse Aide II registries.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care to patients per policies and procedures.
• Serves and feeds patients, records dietary intake.
• Measures and records vital signs and intake/output.
• Assists with transfers, positioning, and mobility.
• Performs basic wound care and dressing changes as directed.
• Documents care provided and reports changes to RN/LPN.
