Job summary

Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN seeks a Nursing Assistant for the Float Pool. This 0.75 FTE role covers 12-hour day shifts, with a Fri-Sun rotation, starting at 7:00 am. You will support licensed nurses, transport patients, and maintain rooms and supplies in a fast-paced unit.

The role requires assisting with care, recording measurements, responding to call lights, and participating in admissions/discharges as needed. OnTrack NA training or equivalent is required, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant program completion (Fairview OnTrack or equivalent).
• Six months of direct care in long-term, home, or acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist the professional nurse in delivering patient care.
• Transport patients and equipment as needed.
• Set up and stock patient rooms and supplies.
• Accurately document tasks performed and monitor patient condition.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges; orient patients and families.
