Job summary

Cleveland State Community College is seeking a Nursing Faculty member for a 9/10-month, tenure-track position in Cleveland, Tennessee. This on-site role involves teaching in the Nursing Department across in-person and online formats, with responsibilities including advising, grading, and committee service.

Minimum qualifications include an integral nursing degree with a TN RN/ APRN license, current BLS/CPR, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing with 18 graduate hours in qualifying coursework.
• Recent professional nursing clinical experience.
• Active, unencumbered Tennessee or multistate compact RN or APRN license.
• Current AHA, BLS, and CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach classes on-site and online as applicable.
• Fulfill instructional requirements per college and TN Board of Regents.
• Remain current in teaching methodologies.
• Maintain office hours and advise students.
• Record grades and report to Registrar.
• Participate in division, student and academic year evaluations.
• Support recruitment and retention efforts.
