Job summary

Cleveland State Community College invites applications for a full-time Accounting Instructor on a 9/10 month tenure-track sequence. The successful candidate will teach accounting courses on-site in Cleveland, TN, and online, maintain office hours, and participate in college service activities.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree with relevant coursework and a valid driver’s license, with rank and salary set by the Tennessee Board of Regents guidelines and campus needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in qualifying coursework relevant to the teaching discipline.
• Valid driver's license.
• Appointee may be placed at a higher rank per Tennessee Board of Regents rules.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach assigned courses in on-site and online formats.
• Maintain office hours and be accessible to students for advising.
• Evaluate and report grades per college policies.
• Participate in department and college meetings and activities.
• Support recruitment and retention efforts of the college.
