Responsibilities

• Plan and teach classes on-site throughout the college’s five-county service area and online formats as applicable.
• Fulfill all instructional requirements required by Cleveland State Community College and the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR).
• Remain current in instructional field and effective teaching methodologies.
• Devote a minimum of 37.5 hours per week to the institution and maintain office hours.
• Be accessible to students for advising and academic assistance.
• Participate in institutional and academic unit meetings.
• Maintain and safeguard all required records and report grades as prescribed by the Registrar.
• Comply with college and board policies and procedures.
• Participate in division, student, and academic year evaluations; support recruitment and retention efforts.
