WVJC in Martinsburg is seeking a Nursing Faculty Instructor to support the Nursing Program Director in curriculum assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, and to assist in course delivery through teaching, supervision and student advisement.
Responsibilities include adhering to college policies, delivering didactic and clinical/lab instruction, and meeting program goals across campuses as needed.
Status: Full-Time, In-Office, Martinsburg, typical hours 8am-4pm
Assist the Nursing Program Director and other faculty members in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the curriculum; to develop strategies to teach the curriculum; and to assist in the implementation of the course through teaching, supervising, and provision of academic advisement of students.
While Nursing Faculty are responsible for fulfilling all primary responsibilities listed above to achieve the immediate goals of the campus, he/she is responsible to meet all organization goals. As such adjustments or additions to these responsibilities and the methods by which they are achieved may be required by management to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency across departments, campuses and the organization as a whole.
Qualifications are congruent with the qualifications of nursing faculty as required by Title 19, Series 1-11.1 of the West Virginia Legislative Rule. The Instructor must meet the following requirements:
