Job summary

The University of Bridgeport invites applications for full-time faculty in the School of Nursing with expertise in adult health, maternity, or mental health. This on-ground, 12-month position emphasizes teaching, scholarly activity, and service, with primary responsibility in the BSN/ABSN program.

Responsibilities include didactic teaching, clinical supervision, curriculum development, student advising, and participation in commencement and university meetings; teaching may occur days, evenings,

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Nursing.
CT RN license (or eligible).
Recent clinical experience is required.
Ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

Teach didactic courses and provide clinical supervision.
Teach across the curriculum with specialization as needed.
Pursue scholarly activities, service, and student advising; contribute to curriculum development and program evaluation.
Participate in commencement and university meetings; collaborate with faculty and staff.
