Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Cook for a Nursing Facility in North Reading. The role focuses on high-volume meal preparation, following standardized recipes, and ensuring attractive plating for multiple meals daily.

Responsibilities include supporting the Dietary Manager when needed, maintaining rigorous sanitation, managing inventory, and accommodating special events. Availability for every other weekend is required. This position offers full-time hours with benefits.

Qualifications

• Classically trained cook with experience in high-volume facilities.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes.
• Maintain sanitation standards in a kitchen.
• Familiar with inventory, stock rotation, and recipe development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to recipes.
• Plate and garnish culinary options to ensure attractive presentation.
• Support Dietary Manager in their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and equipment cleanliness before and after service.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, and assist with purchasing and recipe development.
• Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for events and facility functions.
