Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in the state practiced.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree in nursing preferred.
• Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred.
• At least 2 years nursing education experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs and develop staff education programs.
• Plan and evaluate in-service and continuing education across shifts.
• Coordinate orientation for new nursing staff.
• Monitor OSHA compliance and safety practices.
• Maintain documentation and annual staff development plan.
• Lead nursing education staff and encourage teamwork.
