The Educator will collaborate with service line coordinators and nursing leadership to implement evidence-based training, convene weekly clinical conferences, and support staff performance

Responsibilities

• Develops action plans for new employee orientation with the Nursing Education dept.
• Coordinates orientation goals, strategies, and documentation of competencies.
• Mentors new staff and monitors progress during theory and supervised practice.
• Facilitates clinical orientation of new hires with performance goals.
• Organizes weekly clinical conferences with preceptors and orientees.
• Participates in policy, education program development, and accreditation activities.
• Maintains records and supports education-related committees.
• Provides consultation to medical staff and liaises with affiliated schools.
