Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Nursing Workforce Innovation Leader to drive programs that advance nursing care delivery and clinical quality. The role partners with academic and community organizations to create practicum opportunities and pathways for staff advancement.

You will coach teams, lead change management, and align projects with magnet standards and research initiatives to sustain accreditation and improve patient outcomes. A senior RN with leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of best practices in professional nursing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Mentoring and coaching abilities.
• Ability to work with a diverse population.
• Experience with MS Office Suite.
• Change management or process improvement experience.
• Ability to conduct primary and secondary research.

Responsibilities

• Leads strategies based on data to improve nursing care delivery.
• Provides leadership to develop programs for career pathways in nursing.
• Collaborates with academia and community to create experiential learning.
• Evaluates innovative nursing programs and implements changes.
• Identifies and evaluates processes to drive clinical outcomes via workforce innovation.
• Oversees clinical quality training and measures to improve patient care.
• Provides coaching to workforce innovation students and staff.
• Supports Transition to Practice programs for students into acute care.
• Utilizes change management to support leaders in achieving goals.
• Advises interdisciplinary teams to align with workforce development trends.
• Publishes nursing research outcomes and presents findings.
• Initiates campus-level research to sustain magnet standards and accreditation.
