Job summary

The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory compliance, and staff education within a hospital setting. A strong background in acute care and EHR systems is required.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of hospital policies, procedures, and acute care nursing.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with an Electronic Health Record.
• Cerner documentation (preferred).
• Collaborates with management, nurse leadership, and staff to refine goals and care delivery.
• Demonstrates clear communication about patient care with the healthcare team.
• Supports staff education and professional development.
• Knowledge of regulations, budgeting and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement service programs by assessing patient needs and outlining interventions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of physical, mental, and emotional health.
• Develop individualized care plans with multidisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans based on data.
• Educate nursing staff on new programs and best practices.
• Communicate with patients and families to coordinate care plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
