Job summary

Touro University in New York is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing for Recruitment and Retention to lead initiatives that enhance the student experience and drive enrollment across nursing programs.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing and Associate Director, you will design retention programs, meet with students, coordinate admissions activities, and develop external partnerships while maintaining high engagement with faculty and staff.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree preferred.
• 5 years' experience in admissions, advisement, or student affairs is strongly preferred.
• 2 years' experience leading and coordinating the work of others preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design programs and initiatives to improve student retention after admission.
• Meet with students to design individualized student success plans.
• Coordinate tests and workshops to improve the student experience.
• Serve as first contact for prospective students about nursing programs.
• Develop external partnerships to recruit new student enrollment.
