Touro College & University System is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing for Recruitment and Retention to lead initiatives that enhance the student experience across nursing programs. The role coordinates admissions, retention strategies, and partnerships with external institutions to grow enrollment while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The position requires strong leadership, collaboration with faculty and staff, and travel within New York City during peak recruitment

Formación

• Baccalaureate degree preferred.
• 5 years' experience in admissions, advisement, or student affairs is strongly preferred.
• 2 years' experience leading and coordinating the work of others preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design programs and strategic initiatives to improve student retention after admission.
• Meet with students to design individualized student success plans.
• Coordinate test taking and other workshops to improve the student experience.
• Serve as first point of contact for prospective students about the nursing programs.
• Develop relationships with external partners and other institutions to recruit new student enrollment.
• Advise prospective students regarding academic requirements and review transcripts and related materials.
• Liaise with the Office of Admissions to facilitate onboarding of new students.
• Facilitate testing and onboarding requirements for qualified prospective students.
• Assist admissions staff with maintaining and using electronic student admissions systems.
• Oversee orientations, career fairs, Bootcamps, and other events.
• Chairs select committee meetings of the faculty in the absence of the Director.
• Monitor and maintain policies and procedures.
• Ensure alignment with NYS Education Department/CCNE standards related to engagement, retention, and recruitment.
