Job summary

Seattle Children's is seeking a Nursing Professional Development Practitioner to support nursing education, training, and competency needs for the Fetal Medicine program and NRP facilitation.

The role emphasizes onboarding, competency management, and role development across practice environments, with coaching, performance evaluation, and leadership for continuous improvement to advance nursing quality, patient safety, and health equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in related specialty.
• Experience with education, professional development or teaching in a clinical learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to ANPD NPD core competencies and supports onboarding, orientation, and competency management.
• Provides coaching and evaluation of clinical and professional performance.
• Leads continuous process improvement and supports program development and organizational goals.
• Collaborates to improve nursing quality, patient safety, and health equity.
