Job summary

MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital is seeking a Nursing Professional Development Associate (NPDA) to coordinate programs within the Center for Clinical Education & Professional Practice Development. The NPDA will manage onboarding, competency management, continuing education, nurse residency, and other programs with emphasis on communication and organizational excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or plan to obtain within three years.
Minimum three (3) years office management/administrative experience; Health Care environment preferred.
Minimum three (3) years of experience with personal computer.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Survey Monkey.
Past experience as a NPD Associate preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate tasks across multiple program service lines within the Center for Clinical Education & Professional Practice Development (CCEPPD).
Cross-train to additional programs as needed.
Demonstrate time management, prioritization, and customer-service focus in internal and external interactions.
Work under supervision of the Manager with input from PM and NPD Specialists/Generalists.
