Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso Hunt School of Nursing invites applications for two full-time nursing faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic mission through a variety of teaching and scholarly activities within our renowned nursing program.

Responsibilities include advising, curriculum planning, clinical instruction, and participating in governance and service.

Qualifications

• MSN degree with concentration in teaching or nursing education.
• Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Texas or a compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years undergraduate teaching experience in an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provides academic and clinical instruction within the Hunt School of Nursing.
• Plans, coordinates, and facilitates classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical learning experiences for students.
• Teaches and evaluates students in clinical, laboratory, simulation, and classroom settings.
• Contributes to the development, implementation and evaluation of school, program, course, and student learning activities.
